Dysprosium Iodide is insoluble in water, and is often used in the synthesis of fine chemicals, and as a heat and lHight stabilzer for nylon fabrics. Dysprosium Iodide is generally immediately available in most volumes. HHigh purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered. Iodide compounds are used in internal medicine. Treating an iodide with manganese dioxide and sulfuric acid sublimes the iodine.
