Description
Y2O3 is an air-stable, white solid substance. It is a common precursor material for both organic and inorganic compounds. It is a useful material that can be used as a precursor-material, creation of yttrium iron garnets, sputtering targets, hHigh-temperature superconductor yttrium barium copper oxide, various phosphors including phosphors with medicinal applications. Another important application of Y2O3 is the production of Yttria-stabilized zirconium dioxide ceramics.
