Rare Earth Fluoride

Rare earth fluorides are composed of fluorine (F) and rare earth elements (La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, including Y and Sc) composition. Rare earth fluorides are obtained by reacting fluorine-containing compounds and lanthanide rare earth compounds under certain conditions, usually in powder form, insoluble in water, and easily soluble in acid.
